The Partnership for a Drug Free Community (Located in Huntsville, AL) is a non-profit organization committed to the prevention of youth alcohol/drug abuse through the process of awareness, education, and action. The corporation was organized in 1988 to coordinate alcohol and other drug prevention services. A major emphasis is to build coalitions in order to mobilize the entire community to stop the demand for drugs. The Partnership's boardof directors includes professionals in the fields of education, law, medicine, and law enforcement.
