- he aim of the Centre for Drug Misuse Research is to conduct high quality, policy relevant research on the problem of drug misuse within Scotland. The Centre is committed to a simple philosophy, namely that those working in the drug misuse field within Scotland need access to accurate and up to date information on the nature of the drug problem in our country and the effectiveness of their efforts at tackling drug misuse.
Researchers within the Centre continue to do all they can to deliver on that commitment by producing timely, jargon free reports of their findings and wherever possible engaging with practitioners in the interpretations of their results
